Sales Manager

RigQuip is an international drilling equipment and service organization headquartered in the United Kingdom. The company has recently established itself in Norway, and we are currently looking for a sales manager with documented experience in generating customer interest, securing new customers and ending sales.

This person will be responsible for regularly meeting with and presenting to potential customers, providing sales suggestions, seeking feedback and closing sales. The right candidate will be very driven, focused and results-oriented. The role provides an opportunity for this person to make a mark for themselves as part of a growing business.

The role is primarily based in Stavanger, but can also involve international travel from time to time.

Sales experience with drilling equipment is crucial for this role.


– Identify, engage, and acquire new customers
– Develop existing customer relationships
– Call on and meet with customers on a day to day basis
– Communicate company product and service offering effectively
– Interpret customer requirements
– Fulfil customer inquiries and information requests
– Act as sales focal point in support of live projects
– Produce high quality tender proposals and quotations
– Engage with technical and procurement colleagues as required
– Complete contract review process as required
– Provide sales progress reports
– Support management in delivery of wider sales strategy
– Acquire and develop strong product, company and industry knowledge
– Maintain a safe and clean workplace
– Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies
– Other related duties as defend by management from time to time


Education & training:
– High school education
– Degree qualification advantageous

Technical requirements:
– Proven track record in a sales role
– Comfortable calling and meeting customers independently
– Strong communication skills
– Knowledge of drilling market
– Knowledge of company products and services
– Competent working with MS Office and other applications

– Sales – 3 years minimum
