HMH Drilling Package Reactivation

RigQuip was recently engaged by the managers of a modern, 6th gen, ultra deepwater semi-submersible to carry out inspection, service and recertification of its entire HMH (MH Wirth) drilling package on location in South America. Our team deployed to site to complete a range of scopes across all hoisting & rotating equipment, pipe handling equipment, power and controls systems. The rig was fully reactivated following an extended stacking period.

The scope was delivered by our experienced on site team utilising our API Q2 certified RigPartner drilling equipment maintenance system. RigPartner provides high quality procedures and technical content to our teams in the field and facilitates rapid reporting, documentation and remote technical support.

The project reached a successful outcome, with all equipment inspected, maintained and recertified prior to acceptance by class management.
