Matthew Fraser

Managing Director

Matthew Fraser is Managing Director of RigQuip, a position he has held since 2020. He served as the company’s Operations Director from 2015. Matthew has overseen the company’s international expansion and delivered rig and equipment engineering projects globally. In 2025 he became Chairman of the group. Matthew began his career as a Finance Analyst at Shell in the United Kingdom, before joining the engineering sector. He holds a degree in Management with Economics from the Robert Gordon University. He is a British national, based in the United Arab Emirates.

Eric Wesselingh

Operations Director

Eric Wesselingh is Operations Director of RigQuip, a position he has held since 2020. He is responsible for overseeing all RigQuip projects. Eric has over 30 years rig engineering experience and previously served in a range of senior roles at Rowan Drilling, including Director of Engineering and General Manager. Eric started his career offshore as a Roustabout. He holds a degree in Drilling & Production Technology from the Institute of Oil & Gas, and a masters in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University. He is a Dutch national, based in the United Kingdom.

Louise Maclean

Supply Chain Manager

Louise Maclean is Supply Chain Manager of RigQuip, a position she has held since 2020. She is focused on building strategic supplier relationships globally, and has supported some of the company's largest projects. Louise joined RigQuip in 2015 as Procurement Lead, responsible for all vendor management. She began her career as a Recruitment Coordinator for Ocean Rig in the United Kingdom, before joining the oilfield service sector. She holds a degree in English Literature from Aberdeen University. She is a British national, based in the United Arab Emirates.
