RigQuip is pleased to announce the appointment of Derek Craig to its UK team as Service Manager. Derek brings with him strong significant drilling equipment maintenance knowledge and experience, with over 15 years in the drilling industry. He will be responsible for the UK Service Operations within RigQuip and the continual growth therein.
Derek was previously an Operations Manager at NOV, where he oversaw the Rental, Reconditioned and Exchange business lines for the UK sector. His time at NOV saw him establish himself in the workshop environment, progression into the RRE business line and from there, advancing from Operations Supervisor to UK Operations Manager. This saw multiple projects being delivered, not only within the North Sea, but across the globe as the business demanded.

The team here already have a positive, focused work ethic and I look to build on this as we move forward. The upper management has plans to expand and with my background in the industry I look forward to working with them to develop and grow the business.”
